Account Tab

Use this tab to view and modify account template login and password information.

The fields in this tab are listed below:

Account Template Name

Specifies the name of the account template.

• Restrictions: Commas and semi-colons are not allowed.
• This is a required field.

Description

Specifies a description of the account template.

Comment

Specifies any comment you wish to enter about the account template.

Use Strong Synchronization

• If checked, accounts are synchronized using the exact capability attributes specified by the account template.

  If unchecked, accounts are synchronized using the minimum capability attributes specified by the account template.

Default Login

• Specifies the account name used to login.
• Size/Type: 48 characters
• This is a required field for new accounts only.

Default Shell

• Specifies the shell the default user uses for UNIX accounts.
• Size/Type: 256 characters

Password

Specifies the password the user logs on with.
