Endpoint Tab

Use this tab to acquire the PPS endpoint by specifying connection information. such as the host name of the application server, Jolt port number, and PeopleSoft user name and password.

The fields in this tab are listed below:

Endpoint Name

• User-defined. Specifies the name used within CA Identity Manager to refer to this PPS endpoint.
• This is a required field.

Description

• Specifies the description of the PeopleSoft application server.

Username

• Specifies the username of the PPS user.
• This is a required field.

Password

• Specifies the user's password.
• This is a required field.

Confirm Password

• Retype the PPS user's password to confirm.

This is a required field.

Host Name

• Specifies the PeopleSoft application server host name.
• This is a required field.

Port Number

• Specifies the Jolt port number.
• Default: 9000
• This is a required field.

Number of Retries

Specifies how many times a User Profile transaction is repeated when it fails due to PeopleSoft database deadlock errors.

Connection Timeout (Sec)

Specifies how long the connector will wait for a response to a connection request. If the response does not arrive in time, the connection request will be considered to have failed.

Default Account Template

Specifies the default account template of the endpoint. The default account template is used to create new accounts on the endpoint. Click the Browse button to search and add account templates.
