Privileges Tab

Use this tab to specify a user class and the authorities assigned to that class.

The fields in this tab are listed below:

User Class

Specifies the user's class. The available classes are:

• User - the default
• Security Officer
• Security Administrator
• Programmer
• System Operator

Special Authorities

Specifies special authorities that can be assigned to a user. The choices are:

• ALLOBJ - all objects
• SECADM - security administrator
• JOBCTL - job control
• SPLCTL - spool control
• SAVSYS - save system
• SERVICE - service
• AUDIT - audit
• IOSYSCFG- input/output system configuration

Special Environment

From the drop-down menu, select the special environment, if any, that the user can access. Choose from the following:

• *SYSVAL
• *NONE
• *S36

Public Authority

From the drop-down menu, select the type of public authority that users have. Choose from the following:

• *ALL
• *CHANGE
• *USE
• *EXCLUDE
