Endpoint Tab

Use this tab to specify which OS/400 server you want to register. You must specify the endpoint name, the name of the server, and the default account template.

The fields in this dialog box are listed below:

Endpoint Name

• Specifies the machine name of the OS/400 server that is being managed.
• The machine name must be resolved into the correct IP address that the OS400 machine is using.
• This is a required field.

Description

Specifies a short description of the OS/400 endpoint. This field can be changed after the endpoint is registered.

Manager

• Specifies the account to be used to manage the OS/400.
• This is a required field.

Password

• Specifies the password for the Manager account.
• This is a required field.

Enable SSL for OS400 Communication

Select SSL: OS/400 to make communication with the OS/400 Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) secure.

Default Account Template

Specifies the default account template of the OS/400 endpoint. The default account template is used to create new accounts on the endpoint. Click the Browse button to search and add account templates.
