Display Session Tab

Use this tab to specify options for users to customize their environment.

Assistance Level

Specifies the user interface for your OS/400 user. Possible values are:

Limit Capabilities

Specifies whether the user has limited capabilities. Possible values are:

User Options

Specifies a list of options for users to customize their environment. Possible values are:

Keyboard Buffering

Specifies the keyboard buffering value that is used when a job is initialized for this user. Possible values are:

Attention Key Handling Program
Program

If *SYSVAL is selected, the fully-qualified, integrated file system path name of the program associated with the ATTN key (the Attention Key Handling Program) is specified. The system value QATNPGM determines the user's Attention Key Handling Program. If *NONE is selected, the fully-qualified, integrated file system path name of the program associated with the ATTN key (the Attention Key Handling Program) is specfied. When NONE is selected, no Attention Key Handling Program is used. If *ASSIST is selected, the fully-qualified, integrated file system path name of the program associated with the ATTN key (the Attention Key Handling Program) is specified. When ASSIST is selected, the Operational Assistant program is used. You can also manually set the fully-qualified, integrated file system path name of the program you want to associate with the ATTN key (the Attention Key Handling Program) by typing the file system path name into the text box.

Library

If *LIBL is specified, the library list is used as the location for the Attention Key Handling Program. If *CURLIB is specified, the current library is used as the location for the Attention Key Handling Program.
