Create mailbox now

Specifies that the mailbox is created when the account is created.

Create as background task

Specifies that instead of the connector creating the mailbox directly, a create mail file request document is placed in the Lotus Domino Administration Request database. The create mail file request is processed by the Lotus Domino AdminP server at a later time.

Note: If you select this field, the Mail System field defaults to Lotus Domino and cannot be edited, and the Home Server and Mail File Template attributes become mandatory.

Size/Type: 0 to 10240 MB

Mail File Template

Specifies the Lotus Notes mail template file used to create the LND Account's mail file. The initial value of this field is populated based on information provided by the connector, not a fixed value of "mail6.ntf", regardless of the version number of the LND endpoint.

You must provide a mail file name. The mail file name must be unique; otherwise, the account will not be created. If the user does not have a middle initial, then only the first name and last name are used to create the mail file.

Format: xyzzzzzzz

Where x is the first initial of the user's first name, y is the first initial of the user's middle name, and zzzzzzz is the first six or seven letters of the user's last name. (If the user's last name is shorter than six or seven letters, then the mail file name is shorter.)
