Account Tab

Use this tab to specify Application user information such as the account name, password, and email account. You can also specify whether the password ever expires.

The fields in this tab are listed below:

Account ID

Specifies the Application user name (the name that would be entered by a user to log on to Oracle Applications). This is a read-only field, except when creating a new object.

Restrictions: The name must be in all uppercase characters and start with an alphabetic character.

Size/Type: 100 characters maximum.

Mandatory: Yes

Description

Restrictions: Only ASCII characters are permitted.

Size/Type: 128 characters

Password

Enter a password for the user to sign on to Oracle Applications.

Restrictions: Single-byte characters only.

Size/Type: 64 characters

Confirm Password

Confirms the password specified in the Password field.

*For Accounts Only

Mandatory: Yes

Password Expiration Mode

Indicates when the password expires.

Days

Enter the number of days after which the password expires.

Accesses

Enter the number of uses after which the password expires.

None

Indicates that the password never expires.

The Number of Access Allowed for the Password

Indicates the number of times the password can be used before it expires.

Lifespan of the Password

Indicates how long the password can be used.

Exception Account

Specifies that the account is an exception account.

*For Accounts only.

The Date the Current Password was Set

Indicates the date the current password was set.

*This is a read-only field.

Note: This field is available when viewing or modifying Accounts or Account Templates.

The Number of Accesses Left for the Password

Indicates the number of times the password can be used before it expires.

*This is a read-only field.

Note: This field is available when viewing or modifying Accounts or Account Templates.

The Date the Application User Last Signed On

Indicates the last date the user logged on to Oracle Applications.

*This is a read-only field.

Note: This field is available when viewing or modifying Accounts or Account Templates.

The Session Number of the Application User's Last Sign-on Session

Indicates the session number of the application user's last sign-on session.

*This is a read-only field.

Note: This field is available when viewing or modifying Accounts or Account Templates.

Identifier of Employee to Whom the Application Username is Assigned

Indicates the actual name of the application user, if the Agent can determine it.

*This is a read-only field.

Note: This field is available when viewing or modifying Accounts or Account Templates.

Customer Contact Identifier

Indicates the name associated with a customer contact identifier, if there is one associated with the application user and the Agent can determine it.
*This is a read-only field.

Note: This field is available when viewing or modifying Accounts or Account Templates.

Supplier Contact Identifier

Indicates the name associated with a supplier contact identifier, if there is one associated with the application user and the Agent can determine it.

*This is a read-only field.

The Electronic Mail Address for the User
The Fax Number for the User
The Date the Applications User Becomes Active

Indicates the date that the applications user becomes active. Click the Calendar to specify the date.

This is a required field.

The Date the Applications User is Disabled

Indicates the date that the applications user should be disabled (prohibited from accessing the Oracle Applications installation). If not present, the user will not be disabled. Click the Calendar to specify the date.

Creation Date

Indicates the date the record was created. A read-only field.

* For Accounts only.

Created By

Indicates the user who created this record. A read-only field.

* For Accounts only.

Last Update Date

Indicates the last date on which this record was updated. A read-only field.

* For Accounts only.

Last Updated By

Indicates the user who last updated this record. A read-only field.

* For Accounts only.

Last Update Login

Indicates information about the operating system login of the user who last updated the row. A read-only field.
