The Forgotten Password Reset task enables a user to reset a password after CA Identity Manager verifies his identity. CA Identity Manager uses two types of questions to verify a user’s identity:
In the default Forgotten Password Reset task, a user must provide a user ID and answer five verification questions. Each verification question, which is presented on a separate screen, is randomly chosen from a list of five questions that the user supplies during registration.
Once CA Identity Manager verifies a user’s identity, a screen where the user can enter a new password is displayed.
